 Fishing - Large and Small Mouth Bass, 6 species of Trout, Pike, Muskies, and the PH is neutral.  Close to all area attractions, but in a quiet forest setting. See the sights, then totally relax.

 Most families return many times -- the point is homelike, comfortable, convenient, in a mountain setting with woods, lawn, lake and pond. Your vacation is family oriented, not tied to organized activities.

HOUSEKEEPING COTTAGES: All have showers, hot water, automatic heat, refrigerators, stoves, ovens, cooking utensils, table service, bedpads, blankets, pillows, spreads, grills or charcoal grills. Bring your own sheets, pillow cases, towels, soaps, paper and plastic goods. A cable TV hookup is in each cottage for those who bring a portable set.

THE SUMMER COTTAGES
 THE STUDY: A simple cabin for two persons. Slab bark exterior. Glimpses of stream and lake from rustic living room. Separate bedroom with twin beds. Efficiency kitchen. Has all conveniences and comforts of other cottages. Can hold third person with cot.  SURPRISE: A cabin all by itself amid majestic pines overlooking Surprise Pond. Own campfire. Nearest state trails, four minutes walk to beach. Double bed in bedroom. Double hide-a-bed and chairbed in living area. Up to four persons and a child. PETS W/RESTRICTIONS.
 EAGLES NEST: Picturesque channel and lake view from second floor of boathouse. Early Adirondack architecture with slab bark exterior and wainscoting interior. Sun deck. Bedroom with twin beds, plus a sleeping porch for a child. Double and single sofa beds in the living area. Separate kitchen. Private outside stairway. Up to six persons.  TREETOPS: Modern-paneled walls, coopertone kitchen with double stainless sink, large two-door refrigerator, microwave, four closets, sun deck. Two bedrooms -- one with double bed, other with twin beds. Double day bed in living room. On second floor of boathouse. Private outside stairway. Up to six persons.

WOODHAVEN: Summer home secluded among the pines with glimpses of lake from separate kitchen and dining room. Microwave. Sun deck. Paneled living room with small fireplace. King-size bed in one bedroom and two single bedrooms. Many cabinets and closets. Bathtub and shower. Wall to wall carpeting. Up to four persons.

Bringing your own boat? If it fits under the 4' high bridge you paddle it each use 100' with no charge.
Otherwise, weekly rate is between $40 and $60, and hull insurance is required. Reserve space.

HALF PRICE SPECIAL for earlybird helpers before Memorial weekend. Open your cottage and help pull out boats and benches.

No charge for babies two and under

    Overnight guests are registered with approval of management @ $6 per night. Only registered guests may use the waterfront area (beach, sunning dock, fishing point, lean-to, campfire). Total occupancy is not to exceed cottage capacity. (Each cottage has a charcoal grill)

    DETAILS

    Clean your cottage including oven, broiler, and refrigerator so it is ready for the next family. Vacuums, mops, brooms are provided.

    Pets must be approved and are permitted at Surprise Cottage. A kennel is ten minutes away. $10/wk pet fee per pet. Some restrictions include avoiding lakefront and areas around other cottages and proof of ongoing flea treatments.. Ask for pet policy.

    QUIET is to be maintained after 10:30 pm.

    DOWN PAYMENT: one-half -- remainder in cash on arrival.

    CHECK-IN TIME: 3:00 pm Saturday

    CHECK-OUT TIME -- by 10:00 am Saturday
    +(except Woodhaven -- in after 4 pm, out by noon)
